This free program helps build the work and study skills that help you prepare for entry to high school and employment. We are committed to meeting your needs. All courses show you how to work online using the virtual learning environment and other software. Please review our website for courses offered and our on-line registration process.

Adults who participate in this program:
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • Have a Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • Are an Ontario resident
  • If English is not your first language, will need to be assessed  for suitability - CLB 6 or higher is preferred
I. Foundation Program (Timelines vary depending on level)
  • Build reading, writing, mathematics, and computer abilities
  • Identify learning styles and strategies
  • Real-life tasks measure progress towards your identified goal path
 
II. Bridge to Credit Program 
  • Work on reading and writing skills to prepare for high school credit classes
  • work on your grade 9/10 English PLAR credits
  • For newcomers CLB 7 - you can complete your Level 7 while in this 9 week program
 
You will need a few things to get started:
  1. An original transcript from your previous schooling (We can help if you ar having trouble getting a copy)
  2. Proof of Canadian citizenship, Birth Certificate, Passport, Immigration documents, Permanent Resident Card
